Autumn Rain and Cozy Quilts

I posted a new set of earrings last night!  I named them "Leaves In a Puddle", because they reminded me of taking a walk after a cool fall rain, and watching the fallen leaves drift across the puddles like tiny ships sailing to distant lands.

I found this beautiful Autumn themed quilt on Etsy.  It is a Fall Frolic Scrappy Lap Quilt by Pieces of Pine.  I love to wrap myself up in a cozy quilt on a cold winter's day -- and a handmade quilt makes it even more comforting!

Ode to the End of Summer.

Autumn Reverie

Aaaahhhh.....although I don't think that today is going to feel like the end of summer!  Hot and muggy is the given forecast.  So, I just thought that I would invoke a 'thought' of fall by posting another of my autumn inspired necklaces!  A harmonious blend of violet, copper and moss seed beads accentuate the beautiful maple leaf (an actual epoxied leaf).  The pendant can be removed, so that you may wear the necklace alone.  A little bit of Autumn flair!

Ocean on the Brain.....

I am working on another ocean inspired necklace -- it must be these dog days of summer here in Minnesota! I hope to have it done soon, so that I can get to work on a few bracelet ideas that I have. Looking for a little inspiration for my jewelry designs...... I was looking into my neighbor's backyard, and she has beautiful flowers in full bloom at this time of year! Pinks, reds, oranges, white, yellows....so many color combinations!
