If You Blog It, They Will Come.....

Things have been real slow lately around Etsy, and not just for my shop!  Ok, so maybe my stuff just stinks?  It's like sitting in your shop, and constantly walking outside to make sure the sign says "OPEN".  Can everyone get to and find my shop?  Is PayPal working properly......?  If you are selling your crafts online, and are having the same problem, I KNOW you feel my pain!  I would just like to continue creating more jewelry, but unfortunately things must come to a standstill until sales start coming in -- or I become famous -- or we win the lottery!  :)  Anyhoo, Until that happens, I will just keep swimming..... (Sing it Dory!)

Here are a few shops to take a peek at!  This first item is from Bloom and Barnacle's shop.  A cute ghostie figurine created with sculpey clay.  They have many other festive Halloween items listed in their shop -- so hurry on in, before it's too late!

Drops From a Leaf.....

Pretty and delicate, this necklace makes a stunning statement!  A simple, silver, open leaf focal with an assortment of colored drops, rolling down silver chains.  Freshwater pearls give it a touch of elegance!

If there is anything that gives a home some country charm, it is a wreath.  Blooming Couture on Etsy has some beautiful floral wreaths, along with topiaries, floral arrangements and custom order witches hats! Hang a wreath on your front door to make your home warm and inviting during the holidays!

Ode to the End of Summer.

Autumn Reverie

Aaaahhhh.....although I don't think that today is going to feel like the end of summer!  Hot and muggy is the given forecast.  So, I just thought that I would invoke a 'thought' of fall by posting another of my autumn inspired necklaces!  A harmonious blend of violet, copper and moss seed beads accentuate the beautiful maple leaf (an actual epoxied leaf).  The pendant can be removed, so that you may wear the necklace alone.  A little bit of Autumn flair!

And a bit O' whimsy.....

Greenie Marie Whimsical Art Dolls on Etsy -- Sweet, funny, and cute!  She makes her dolls without the use of a pattern, so that each one is unique and made with love!  Nice selection of rag dolls and bears -- pick one to be your cuddly, wuddly, snuggly buddy!

Autumn on its Way!

Autumn Splendor
Since the hint, thought of Autumn is in the air, I thought that I would show one of my favorite necklaces!  This necklace was created with an actual maple leaf - colored and epoxied, it is a vibrant statement of fall!  The seed beads are a beautiful cascade of moss, to bronze, to gold colors.   The leaf pendant may be removed so that the necklace can be worn alone.  If you love Autumn - you can wear a piece of it all year round!

Welcome to the Twilight Zone!

Spiral Necklace
This spiral pendant necklace reminds me of the into to the old Twilight Zone shows!  The spiral pendant is made from lead-free pewter, and is strung on brown waxed cotton cord.  The necklace can be shortened by sliding the knots along the cord -- you can wear it longer or shorter like a choker!  the combination of brown cord, copper, antiqued copper, and dark topaz seed beads, give the necklace a warm and rustic look.  Simple and casual!

Piggy Kisses!

Just got back from the Dakota County Fair -- what a gorgeous day!  I actually overheard people saying that they should have worn jeans.  For real?!?  We're Minnesotans.  Grow a pair of potatoes!  It drops back below tropical temperatures, and they're chilly......  oy vey!  Get out and enjoy the day (or the evening)!

Love Everlasting....

The style of this necklace is: country, craftsy, primitive.  The copper heart is just beautiful!  I added copper plated charms to accent the blue magnesite, pink cherry quartz, shell, glass, and copper beads.  For more information, check out my Etsy shop!

Seaside Necklace

Seaside
Here is another of my ocean inspried necklaces!  I love the copper starfish focal combined with the sea-green amazonite chips.  This necklace is also accented with Swarovski pearls and two copper plated shell beads.  It is finished with a copper toggle clasp, and a 'water drop' dangle!  All of my jewelry items are created with QUALITY materials, and EXCELLENT craftmanship!

Ocean on the Brain.....

I am working on another ocean inspired necklace -- it must be these dog days of summer here in Minnesota! I hope to have it done soon, so that I can get to work on a few bracelet ideas that I have. I posted another corded necklace to my Etsy shop today. A whimsy "Tribal Man" dancing up a storm! Enjoy!

Annabell's Garden

I recently finished another necklace....this one reminds me of a woman who lived next door to my grandparents. She kept beautiful gardens in her yard, and always had a sunny smile! I also love the vintage look of this necklace -- antique brass with lavender and pink accents look so classic together!

Color My World....

Looking for a little inspiration for my jewelry designs...... I was looking into my neighbor's backyard, and she has beautiful flowers in full bloom at this time of year! Pinks, reds, oranges, white, yellows....so many color combinations!
